When Your Boyfriend Has Never Given You 100naira

My relationship is 3yrs old nd i hv neva asked my boyfriend for money,  not even 20naira,  not like i am complaining,  I have more dan I need nd i love to take care of myself. He has neva given me money too,  whenever i spend weekends at his place i use my
money to buy stuffs i need, most times when he is going buy airtime i give him money to buy for me. My friends keep saying its not normal but i am like what is the essence of asking him for money when i have more dan i need..... A week ago my bank had issues concerning BVN nd i cldnt withdraw,  so i asked him to borrow me 10k nd he said he doesn't hv money at the moment, this is somebody i lend 200k sometimes dou he always pay bk,  this is somebody that earns above 200k monthly plus it was my 1st time of asking him for money. That singular act got me worried and thinking. Please is this enough reason to break up with him? Should i developemnt the habit of asking for money frequently?
